Getting The Right Replacement
A sizing sleeve needs to match the pipe you produce and the equipment around it. The finished outside diameter alone is not enough to identify a replacement. Sleeve length, mounting details and the connection to the calibration arrangement also belong in the enquiry.
For an existing line, start with the current sleeve and the result you need from the replacement. State whether you are replacing a worn component, adding a pipe size or investigating a dimensional problem. This gives the technical review a clear starting point without treating different sleeves as interchangeable.

Can a sleeve be selected only by pipe outside diameter?
No. Include the sleeve geometry, mounting details and calibration arrangement as well as the pipe dimensions. The same nominal pipe diameter does not establish interchangeability.
What if the original drawing is missing?
Send photographs of the sleeve and its installation with the dimensions you can identify. The missing measurements can then be listed for a drawing or sample review.
Will a replacement sleeve resolve every pipe-size problem?
A dimensional issue should be reviewed with the extrusion and calibration conditions. Describe the observed variation and when it occurs so that the sleeve is not assessed in isolation.
