Count Every Pipe, Form The Same Bundle Every Time
Before a strap or a bag goes on, the right number of pipes has to be separated, counted, lined up and held as one stable bundle. A miscount here becomes a short bundle at your customer, and a loose bundle here becomes a jam at the strapper.
Five stations do this work. Each one is set around your pipe size, pipes per bundle and the bundle dimensions you ship.
One Line, A Count And A Bundle Shape For Every Size
A 32 mm pipe and a 110 mm pipe do not share a bundle count or an arrangement. Each size gets its own recipe on the panel, so your operator picks the size and the counter, aligner and former follow. To build that, we need every size you run on the line, not just the one you run most, so the former is sized for your largest bundle and still holds your smallest pipe.

Secure The Bundle Without Marking The Pipe
A bundle has to stay tight through the forklift, the truck and the yard, but every point that holds it also touches the pipe. Too much strap tension leaves a ring in the wall, a hard guide leaves a scratch, a drop between stations leaves a dent.
The packing line is set for both at once: the package your customer expects to receive, and a pipe surface that still looks extruded when it arrives.
Strapping Pressure Under Control
Enough tension to hold the bundle, not enough to press a ring into the wall. The setting comes from your pipe size, wall stiffness, bundle weight and the strap you use.

Fewer Hard Contact Points
Guides, supports and pushers that touch the pipe are chosen and placed so the pipe slides instead of scrapes. Rubbing on a moving bundle shows up later as a dull stripe on a glossy pipe.

Stable Transfer Between Stations
A formed bundle can still get hurt on the way. Transfers from former to strapper to bagger are matched in height and speed so the bundle keeps its shape and the outer pipes keep their surface.

Clearance For Socket Ends
Belled ends stick out past the body of the bundle. Alignment, arrangement and contact points are set so the sockets do not knock into each other or take the strap load on their own.

If you already had pipes rejected for strap marks, scratches or cracked sockets, send a photo of the damage with your pipe spec. It tells us which station caused it and what to change.
Strap, Film, Bag, Or All Of Them In Sequence
Each option adds a station to the line. Pick the package your customer expects to receive and we build the stations behind it.
Strap
Holds the formed bundle in shape through handling, storage and truck loading. The baseline for every pipe bundle, and often all a domestic customer asks for.
Adds to the line: strapping station
Film / Sleeve
An outer skin against dust, dirt and surface marks. Worth it where bundles sit in the yard for weeks, travel far or pass through several hands before they reach the site.

Plastic Bag
A closed package when your packing spec asks for the whole bundle to be covered, ends included. Common for smaller diameters and for customers who store pipe indoors.
Adds to the line: bagging station, bag feed sized to your bundle
Woven Bag
A heavier outer bag for export loads, container stuffing and customers whose packing standard names the bag. Takes more abuse than film and keeps the bundle clean to the last mile.

Match Packing Capacity To Your Line Output
The packing line has to finish bundles as fast as the extruder makes pipe, with margin. Size it on your real pipe output and the bundle you ship, not on the top speed printed on one strapping head.

Check capacity by the complete bundle cycle, not by the maximum speed of one packing station. A strapper rated for 60 bundles an hour helps nothing if counting and forming only release 25.
Choose Online Or Offline Packing
The layout depends on how pipes reach your packing area, how many extrusion lines the packer has to serve, and whether production and packaging run at the same rate.
Neither is the better machine. One fits a dedicated line, the other fits a shared packing hall.

Choose Online Packing When

Know What Changes Between Pipe Sizes
When one packing line handles more than one pipe diameter, bundle count or package format, changeover time depends on how many things your operator has to touch. Three groups cover all of them.
Settings live on the panel as recipes. Mechanical positions and packaging materials are what still take hands, so those are what we design to be quick.

Verify The First Finished Bundle
CheckCount the pipes, look at the ends, measure the bundle and inspect the package. Then release the line to continuous production.
A good changeover procedure makes it obvious what is a setting, what is a mechanical adjustment and what is a material change. That is what we hand over with the line.
Where Pipe Packaging Usually Goes Wrong
Whether you are replacing hand packing or upgrading a line you already run, the finished bundle is where problems show up. The cause is almost always one station earlier.
Pick the symptom you see. The panel shows which station it usually starts at and what to check first.
Wrong Number Of Pipes Per Bundle
One pipe too many or too few, now and then, almost never comes from the counter itself. It comes from pipes arriving on top of each other or too close together, so the sensor sees one where there were two. Small diameters do this most.

Pipe Ends Do Not Line Up
Uneven ends make the bundle look careless, and a pipe that sticks out catches the strap or tears the bag. The stop position has to match your pipe length, and the pipes have to be held after alignment, not left free to slide back before the bundle moves on.

Bundles Loosen After Forming
A tight strap on a loose bundle is still a loose bundle. If the pipes shift between forming and strapping, the strap closes on air. The arrangement, forming position and holding pressure have to keep the bundle in shape until the last strap is on.

Pipes Are Scratched Or Marked
If surface matters to your customer, the bag is not where to look. Guides, supports, transfer points and strap tension each leave their own kind of mark. A photo of the mark usually tells us which station made it.

Bagging Or Wrapping Is Unstable
Film and bags want the same bundle every time. If bundle size or alignment changes from pack to pack, feeding, covering and sealing all drift with it. The fix is usually upstream, in forming, not in the bagger.

Packing Falls Behind Production
Pipes piling up after the stacker means the packing cycle is slower than the extruder. Pipes per hour, pipes per bundle and the number of packing steps have to be checked together, as one cycle, before the line is sized.

Before shipment, the complete packing process runs against the pipe, bundle, package and rate you confirmed. A machine that cycles is not the pass mark. Repeated bundles that all come out right is.

Questions Buyers Ask Before Ordering A Packing Line

1 What information do you need to configure a pipe packing line?
Your pipe OD range, pipe length, pipes per bundle, bundle size or shape, production rate, packaging method, and whether the line runs online behind the extruder or offline. If you already ship a bundle, a photo of it or your packing spec saves a round of questions.
2 Can one packing line handle different pipe diameters and bundle sizes?
Yes, within a defined range of pipe sizes and bundle specs. Each switch can mean a recipe change on the panel, guide and stop adjustments, a different bundle forming position and different packaging material. Confirm your whole product range before the line is configured so the range is built in, not bolted on later.
3 Can the machine automatically count the pipes in each bundle?
Yes, counting sits before bundle forming. What makes it reliable is not the sensor alone but stable separation and controlled feeding, so each pipe passes the sensor on its own and the exact quantity is released every time.
4 How do you keep the pipe ends aligned and the bundle stable?
The pipes are pushed to a common end line before final forming, and the formed bundle is held under pressure until the strap or bag is on. Alignment, forming and holding positions are set to your pipe length, bundle count and the finished bundle dimensions.
5 Can the packing line connect with my existing pipe stacker?
In most projects, yes. We check the stacker discharge height, pipe transfer direction, buffer space, production rate, control signals and your layout first. If the way your stacker hands off pipe is compatible with the new packing section, it stays in the line.
6 Should I use an online or offline packing line?
Online when one production line feeds the packer continuously and the packing cycle can keep up with it. Offline when several extrusion lines share one packing system, packaging specs change often, or your layout has no room for a direct connection.
7 Do I need a complete automatic packing line?
Not necessarily. If counting, stacking or another step already works for you, automate only the steps that are still manual. The configuration can be counting and bundling, strapping, bagging, or the whole process, depending on what your line already does well.
8 How do you select between strapping, film, sleeve and bag packaging?
By how the bundle is handled, stored and shipped, and by the appearance and protection your customer expects. If your market already asks for a specific strap, film, sleeve or bag format, the packing section is built around that spec. We do not change your package to suit the machine.
9 How do you prevent scratches or deformation during packing?
Pipe protection is designed into every step, feeding, alignment, forming, transfer and strapping, not added at the bag. Contact surfaces, bundle movement and strap pressure are controlled to limit rubbing, impact and concentrated load. Socketed pipes get extra clearance at the ends.
10 How do you confirm the packing line can meet our production rate?
We work out the bundle rate from your pipes per hour and pipes per bundle, then check that counting, alignment, forming, strapping, bagging and outfeed all fit inside that cycle. Before acceptance, the line runs repeated automatic cycles so you see finished bundle quality and continuous rate, not a single demonstration.
