QTech-Machinery supplied a customized tumbler straw extrusion line for THERMOS, a well-known drinkware brand.
The line was designed to produce reusable plastic straws for insulated tumblers and drinking cups, with a focus on stable extrusion, accurate sizing, clean cutting, and straw-end finishing.
THERMOS needed a production line for LLDPE and PCT reusable tumbler straws in different sizes.
Main requirements included stable small-diameter tube extrusion, consistent cutting length, chamfered straw ends, V-shape opening processing, and a reliable layout for daily production.
QTech-Machinery provided a complete extrusion and finishing line covering material feeding, precision extrusion, vacuum calibration, cooling, servo haul-off cutting, chamfering, opening, and industrial water cooling.
This solution helped THERMOS build a practical production process from raw material to finished reusable tumbler straws.

THERMOS Reusable Tumbler Straw Extrusion Line Project
The tumbler straw extrusion line was configured and delivered according to THERMOS production requirements.
The completed line enabled the customer to produce reusable tumbler straws with stable LLDPE and PCT extrusion, accurate straw diameter control, continuous cooling and sizing, reliable servo haul-off cutting, smooth chamfered straw ends, and V-shape opening processing.
The project provided an integrated production flow from raw material feeding to finished straw processing, supporting consistent reusable straw manufacturing for drinkware applications.
