▏Production Line Components

TPE/PE pillow stuffing hose production line mainly consists of the following components:

▏Raw Material Pretreatment Process

Pretreatment of raw material is an important step to ensure the quality of pillow core tube. TPE/PE raw materials need to be dried to remove water and avoid bubbles during extrusion. At the same time, the raw materials need to be mixed evenly in proportion to ensure the stable performance of the pipe. The pre-treated raw material is fed to the extruder through the feeding system.



▏Extrusion Melting Molding

Inside the extruder, the TPE/PE raw material is heated and melted and extruded into a tube shape by a die pushed by a screw. The temperature, pressure, screw speed and other parameters of the extruder need to be adjusted according to the characteristics of the raw material and the specifications of the pipe to ensure that the melting state of the pipe and the extrusion speed are stable.



▏Mold Extrusion Finalize

After the molten TPE/PE material is extruded through the mold, it enters the setting device immediately. The setting device makes the tube close to the inner wall of the setting sleeve through vacuum or air pressure to achieve accurate setting. The size and shape of the shaping sleeve should be designed according to the specifications of the pipe to ensure the roundness and wall thickness of the pipe.



▏Cooling And Cutting Processes

The shaped pipe enters the cooling system and is quickly cooled by water bath or air cooling to fix its shape and size. The cooled pipe is continuously pulled by the traction device, and when the set length is reached, the cutting device automatically cuts the pipe. The cut pipe should be trimmed to remove burrs and end face irregularities.



▏Quality Inspection Process

After cutting the pillow stuffing hose, it needs to go through the quality inspection process, including appearance inspection, size measurement, and performance testing. The appearance inspection mainly checks whether the surface of the pipe is smooth, no cracks, no bubbles and other defects; The size measurement mainly checks whether the diameter, wall thickness and length of the pipe meet the specifications; Performance test mainly tests the elasticity, wear resistance, compressive strength and other mechanical properties of the pipe.
